2 sticks butter softened
3 cups sugar sifted
3 cups flour sifted
2 tsp. vanilla
8 oz. sour cream
pinch soda
Bundt pan

Directions:
Directions:
Start in a cold oven... then 15 min. at 325..then 1.5 hours at 300. Check The cake as it gets to the end it may take less or more time. I use a bundt pan greased with butter.
Mix 2 sticks butter softened with 3 cups sifted sugar then add 6 eggs ( I use jumbo) and add one at a time. Mix well.... then add 8 oz. sour cream and 2 tsp of vanilla ( can use 1 of lemon if you prefer the lemon pound cake). Add a Pinch of soda
Next sift 3 cups of cake flour and add slowly while mixing. Now you are ready to pour into the cake I also make the lemon drizzle for the top or any other flavor you may want. pan.
