When Grandma DuFrain made bread, for a treat once in a while, she would make a form of a coffee cake.
She would take some of her bread dough and pat it into a pie pan, let it raise. She would then poke indentations into the bread with her finger (more indentations the better the coffee cake). Depending on the size of your pan, mix equal amount of heavy whipping cream and white sugar (for a pie pan size we think 1 cup cream and 1 cup sugar). Pour heavy whipping cream mixture over the bread. Sprinkle cinnamon over the top. Bake at 350º for 15 - 20 minutes depending on the size of your pan. Time varies on oven temp and size of pan... you will need to watch and check.
