4 oz (1 box) unsweetened chocolate
⅔ cup butter
1 ⅓ cup all purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
½ teaspoon salt
4 eggs
2 cups white sugar
2 teaspoon vanilla

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350.
Grease a 9×13″ pan with butter or cooking spray.
Make sure oven rack is in the middle of the oven.

1. In small microwave safe bowl, melt butter and chocolate in microwave (or over double boiler). Allow to cool slightly.
2.Measure flour, salt, and baking powder into another small bowl.
3.In larger mixing bowl, beat eggs thoroughly. A whisk is fine.

24Gradually add sugar.
Blend chocolate mixture and vanilla into egg/sugar mixture.
Add flour mixture, stir well.
Spread in the greased 9×13″ pan and bake for 25-30 minutes.
Cool and cut into 24 squares.

I, Denise (aka Esie), loved making these brownies throughout the years. Would never had the opportunity unless my Mama, Grandma, never introduced me to this amazing recipe... I've played with various number of eggs 1 vs. 2 depending upon how cakey I wanted to make the batch.
