Directions:
Mix all ingredients except flour and beat well. Stir in flour and chill. Form into balls and flatten in pan. Bake at 350 until golden brown. Spread your favorite jam on one cookie and top it with another cookie. Store in ice cream pail. ;)
Eat together with hot tea or coffee, because you use the drink for dipping your cookie into.

Personal Notes:
This recipe comes from my dad's mom. Some of my early childhood memories Driving to Greenland seem to take a very long time, but finally, the lights of Winnipeg were in sight, and of course, we begged to drive through the city! Sometimes we did, and sometimes we didn't. But we knew that it wouldn't be very long now and soon we would be at Granny's house. As we drove on the yard, she would turn on the lights and Ginger, the dog would come barking to greet us. After warm hugs all around we would sit at the kitchen or dining table, depending on how many children were still sleeping, and she would bring out the pail of jam-jams and make hot tea. It still brings such a warm cozy feeling. And I thank God for my special Granny.
