1 c. shortening
¾ c. sugar
¾ c. brown sugar
½ tsp. water
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
2¼ c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt

Directions:
Set oven to 375º

In a mixing bowl, combine the first 5 ingredients and beat until creamy. Add eggs, and beat until blended. Combine the dry ingredients, add to creamed mixture, beat until combined. Drop onto an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 10 min. or until the outer edges are golden brown.
