1 peck of Green Tomatoes chopped
1 pt. salt
water
1 head cabbage
Vinegar

skin of 12 peppers
6 onions chopped fine
1/2 pt grated horseradish
1 T cloves
1 T allspice
1 T dry mustard- stirred
small amount of water
1 pt molasses

Directions:
Directions:
Chop tomatoes, add salt, cover with water. Let stand 24 hours. Drain off juice. Put in fresh water and drain. Chop cabbage. Chop all together fine Put in kettle. Cover with equal quantities vinegar and water. Bring to a boil to scald and drain.
Add: the skins of 12 peppers, chopped onions, horseradish, cloves, all spice, dry mustard, water and molasses.
Put in jars. Cover with cold vinegar.
