1/2 shortening
1 1/2 c sugar
2 beaten egg yolks
3 1/2 tsp Baking Powder
1/4 tsp salt
2 1/3 c flour
2/3 c milk
1 tsp vanilla
2 beaten egg whites

Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening, adding sugar slowly, and adding the egg yolks.
Sift slowly: baking powder, salt, adding flour alternately with the milk.
Add vanilla and fold in beaten egg whites.
