2 cups flour
2½ cups buttermilk
4 eggs
2 Tbsp sugar
1 tsp soda
½ tsp salt
¾ cup butter or margarine

Separate eggs
Melt butter.
Sift dry ingredients
Add buttermilk to dry ingredients
Add yoke and butter and beat.
Beat eggs whites and fold in.

Jack Hansen was the husband of my cousins Dianne Miller Hansen. I got this recipe from them and it is delicious. At one point in our lives, we would invite people to come over on Sunday evenings and se would serve this. When Randy was Bishop, we would also have the youth in the ward come over often and we would serve this the Jack's Special Syrup* and orange juice.
