Grandma's Potato Soup Recipe

6 medium potatoes - peeled and diced
1 small onion - diced
1 can - Evaporated Milk
2 tsp - Butter
1-2 Carrots - shredded (I use the store bought shredded)
Velveeta Cheese - grated to taste (1/4 lb to start with - add with the heart)
Salt and Pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Add diced potatoes to pan, just cover with water and boil until done.
Do not drain potatoes.
Once potatoes are done add all other ingredients and cook until cheese melts.

Grandma says not to use too much water or your soup will be too soupy. Just use enough water to cover potatoes.

30-45 minutes (depends how slow you are at peeling potatoes)
