"As viscous as motor oil swirled in a swamp, redolent of burnt bell peppers nested in by incontinent mice and a finish reminiscent of the dregs of a stale can of Coca-Cola that someone has been using as an ashtray. Not a bad drink, though."--Excerpt from "The Moose Turd Wine Tasting" by T. A. Nonymous

Cream together the butter and sugars, stir in the vanilla.
Combine the salt and flours, then combine the mixtures with a fork, being careful not to overwork the dough.
Shape the dough into a disk, cover with plastic wrap, and freeze for 2 hours or overnight.
Flatten the dough to about 1/2-inch thick and cut into cookies, reshaping the dough to cut more until all is used.
