1 c. powdered sugar in a separate bowl for dusting the dough

Directions:Preheat oven to 350º.
In a large bowl, mix the egg, oil, and vanilla together. Stir the cake mix and chocolate chips into the wet ingredients until all ingredients are well mixed.
Roll dough into little balls about 1 inch in diameter and then slightly flatten the ball. Tap each side of the cookie dough in the powdered sugar and place on a cookie sheet about 1 inch apart. Bake at 350º for 8 minutes (no longer). Remove and let cool. Store in an air-tight container up to a week.
These cookies are extra decadent when warm! Enjoy them when they're cooling or heat the day-after cookies in the microwave for a few seconds. |

Notes: This is my most requested dessert from both my family and friends. The cookies are so easy to make and are fun to bake with "little helpers" around the kitchen.
