Great-Grandma Eva was Grandma Dorothy's mother. This recipe of hers came from a 1950 American Legion Auxiliary Unit No. 327 cookbook from Volga, Iowa. Grandma Dorothy was born and grew up in Volga, just across the Minnesota border.
