3/4 cup softned margarine 1 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 cup sugar 3/4 tsp. salt
3 or 4 ripe bananas mashed 1/2 cup buttermilk
2 eggs 1 cup chopped nuts
1 tsp. vanillia
2 cups all purpose flour

Preheat oven to 325 Lightly grease pan and dust with flour or use Pam

Cream together margarine, sugar. Add mashed bananas, eggs, and vanillia. In a small bowl combine, flour, baking soda and salt. Add to cream mixture alternate with buttermilk. Fold in nuts. Pour batter into prepared pan. Bake 1 1/2 hours or until toothpick comes out clean. Cool in pan 15 minutes and then remove to a rack and cool completely.
