Six egg yolks
Six tablespoons powder sugar
One cup sour cream
Two tablespoons melted butter
Three-1/2 cups flour
Container Crisco shortening for cooking

Directions:
Directions:
Mix first five ingredients together well.

On lightly floured table surface, roll out dough thinly.

Cut dough into thin strips 6"x2".

Cut one slit in center of strips.

Pull one side of strip through center slit and up again, forming a ribbon of sorts.

When you have created the ribbons, set them each gently on a towel to rest.

Boil shortening in deep fry pan.

Place dough trips gently into hot oil.

Flip dough strips when gently brown, checking frequently.

Remove and place on towel to rest.

When cooled, sprinkle with powder sugar for added sweetness.
