Ingredients:
FULL BATCH
1 cup margarine
1 cup peanut butter
1 cup sugar
1 cup light brown sugar
2 large eggs
1tsp vanilla
2 2/3 cups flour
1 1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
12 oz semi sweet chocolate chips

WIMPY BATCH
1/2 cup margarine
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup light brown sugar
1 large egg
1/2 tsp vanilla
1 1/3 cups flour
3/4 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
6 oz of semi sweet chocolate chips .

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees
Open chocolate chips bag and remove one handful. These are yours alone, to sustain
energy during the baking process( the rest will go in the cookies). Thoroughly cream the margarine, peanut butter, sugars, eggs and vanilla .( at least one minute on high)
In a separate bowl , combine flour, soda, and salt.
Then , using a wooden spoon ( it's in the backyard, where little Joey hid it ) blend
every thing together.
Add chocolate chips. Form dough into 1 1/4 inch balls, roll in granulated sugar and
place on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake 8 minutes ( or until the highest points just start to brown) . Remove from oven ;
wait 10 minutes , then place on waxed paper to cool for at least 20 minutes before
serving.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
DAD'S SECRETS ;
1. Use Blue Bonnet margarine. I've tried 'em all, even butter and nothing seems to
work better.
2. Chill the dough for awhile before baking , It's easier to work with
3. Don't skip the rolling in sugar part! If you do, the result is a run of the mill, flat
boring cookie.
4. Read my lips ..... UNDERBAKE! If they look done , you've overcooked 'em
Let them cool and the result will be :perfect, soft chewy cookies which , incidentally,
are the best after about 2 hours .
VARIATIONS:
1. If your handful of chocolate chips turns into the whole bag, not a worry! Just
crisscross the cookies with a fork and call 'em good ol' fashioned peanut butter
cookies. Who's gonna know?
2. Raisins ( dead grapes) , whole wheat flour (sand) , or (gag) wheat germ? I DON'T
THINK SO! These are cookies, not health bars. Hey , just give the kids a vitamin and let them enjoy real cookies!
If , for any reason, these cookies don't turn out to be the best you've ever tasted ,then I ABSOLUTELY GUARANTEE you did something wrong! Review Dad's Serets and Variations and try again...... Kyle's Dad
