Sift together
1 tsp baking powder
2 1/4 cup flour
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp soda



1/2 cup shortening or butter
1 cup sugar
1 tsp vanilla
2 unbeaten eggs
1 tbsp milk

Directions:
Directions:
Mix shortening, sugar, vanilla, eggs and milk. Add this to sifted ingredients.

Make into a dough ball
Then wrap dough in waxed paper and chill about 2 hours. (Longer the better)
Roll out 1/8 thickness. Cut with cookie cutters dipped in flour.
Sprinkle with sugar before baking.
Bake in oven at 425º for 10 minutes.
