2 sticks Margarine, softened
1 cup Brown Sugar
1 cup White Sugar
1 Egg
1 Tbl. Milk
2 tsps. Vanilla


Mix by hand with pastry blender (if you have one)

3 1/2 cups Flour
3 tsps. Soda
1 1/4 cups Quaker 100% natural cereal
1 cup Quick Oatmeal


Mix the above dry ingredients together in a large bowl.

3/4 cup Oil

Add the dry ingredients to the margarine, sugar combination, alternating with the oil.

1 12 oz. Package chocolate chips

Stir chocolate chips into the cookie batter.

Bake at 350 ° 6-7 minutes on an ungreased cook sheet. (May vary with your oven.)

Makes a large batch. Can be frozen until ready to eat.

This is my sister Penny’s recipe. Love them!!!
