1 Pack Duncan Hines yellow cake mix
1 3½ oz pack instant butterscotch pudding
1 Cup Water
4 Eggs
¾ Cup cooking oil (avocado or canola)
⅓ Cup or more poppyseeds

Grease with butter a 9X13 baking dish
Mix per directions on cake mix box

Tip: Add poppyseeds after blending all other ingredients together

Bake per directions on cake mix box

*After baking, and while cake is still hot, spread butter over the top of the warm cake to taste :)

This recipe was given to me from my Grandma Iris Banks. She gave me a 1950s Betty Crocker's Cookbook and on the inside cover she had taped this handwritten recipe and called it a Russian Wedding Cake and signed it, "From dear sweet Grandma's kitchen."

It is one of our family's favorites; it's definitely mine!!!
