1 c unsalted butter, room temperature
8 oz. cream cheese, room temperature
1 1/2 c granulated sugar
1 egg
2 t. vanilla
1/2 t salt
2 2/3 all-purpose flour

FROSTING:
6 t unsalted butter, room temperature
2 c powdered sugar
1 T milk
1 t lemon juice
1 t vanilla
1/4 t salt
1/4 t lemon rind, grated
Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and cream cheese, then add sugar and vanilla and cream together. Add egg. Slowly add flour.

Spread in 9/13 pan lined with parchment paper. Bake at 350º until firm.

While cookies are cooling, make frosting. Food gel or food coloring can be added also. Spread over cookies.

Keep covered.
