1 Tbsp. Crisco
Medium Onion, diced
6 Slices bacon
3 lb. cabbage shredded.
¼ Cup white vinegar
1 Cup chicken broth
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. sugar
Pepper
½ Package wide egg noodles, cook and drained.

Heat Crisco in a heavy-duty Dutch oven add bacon, onion & cook over med high heat for 10 minutes or until lightly brown.

Add cabbage & cook covered for 5 min. Add vinegar, chicken broth, salt & sugar. Bring to a boil, cover and cook over low heat for 30 minutes.

Check to see if cabbage is done and if not cook until it is done. Once it is done, add noodles.
