Ingredients:

SAUCE
8-10 large cans tomato sauce (15 oz.)
2 small cans tomato paste (6 oz.)
2 cans petite chopped tomatoes
2 tbsp. sugar
Large jar whole mushrooms
Large jar sliced mushrooms
1 large onion, chopped
Italian seasoning or Spaghetti Sauce Seasoning to taste
Olive oil

MEATBALLS
2 lbs. ground beef
1 cup breadcrumbs
2 eggs
1/4 cup chopped parsley
1/2 cup milk
1 tbsp. Worcestershire Sauce
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
salt and pepper to taste

SAUCE
Sauté onion in olive oil until transparent. Add the other ingredients and simmer uncovered for 1-1.5 hours.

MEATBALLS
Mix all ingredients together and form into balls. Place on a lined baking sheet and bake at 350º until brown. Remove from oven and add to sauce.

Cook in sauce for 30 or more minutes to absorb flavors. Serve over pasta.

Memaw did not have a lot of directions, just some ingredients. But she sure knew how to make some delicious spaghetti and meatballs. Steve and Paul do a great job of keeping this recipe alive.
