Ingredients:
Ingredients:
2 cups warm water
1/4 cup sugar
2 pkgs. yeast
1/4 cup oil
4 1/2 cups flour
1 tsp. salt

Directions:
Directions:
Step 1. Dissolve 1/4 cup sugar in 2 cups warm water. Then, add yeast and let proof. This will need to sit about 15 minutes.
Step 2. Mix 1/4 cup oil in yeast mixture once it is proofed.
Step 3. Mix 4 1/2 cups flour in another bowl with 1 teaspoon salt.
Step 4. Mix flour mixture into yeast mixture, 1 cup at a time. After about 3 cups, you will need to mix about 1/2 cup at a time. You will have to knead it in. If it is still sticky, you can add a little more flour. You will have to knead for about 5 minutes. Now it should be a nice smooth ball. Put a little bit of oil on it and let raise for about 1 1/2 hours. Dough should double in size.
Step 5. Grease the bread pans with a solid shortening (oleo or Crisco) not oil or it will stick. I make 2 loaves out of it.
Step 6. Let raise, put a little oil on the top of each loaf, so it will brown nice. Let raise for about an hour or so. I use two 8 inch bread pans.
Step 7. Bake at 350º for about 30 minutes.
Step 8. Brush top of bread when you take out of oven with butter or oleo. Let set about 5 minutes and take out of pans.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
Sometimes if my flour is cold, I put it in the microwave for about 30 seconds.
I use 2 bowls about the size of the large one in your nest of bowls.
1 package of yeast equals 2 1/2 tsp.
