1 14 oz. pkg. caramels
⅔ c. evaporated milk
1 pkg. german choc. cake mix.
½ c. oleo (melted)
1 ½ c. chopped nuts
1 c. chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Grease & flour 9x13 pan. Melt caramels and ⅓ c. evaporated milk on low until melted, and its stirring smooth. In a separate bowl combine cake mix, oleo, ⅓ c. evaporated milk, and 1 cup nuts.
Press half of the cake mixture into pan and bake 6 minutes at 350º. Sprinkle on chocolate chips and spread caramel mixture carefully on top. Crumble remaining cake mixture on top. Press gently into caramel. Sprinkle with remaining nuts.

Bake at 350º for 20 minutes. Cool slightly. Cut into squares. (May be refrigerated)
