1 c. shortening
3/4 c. sugar
3/4 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
1 t. baking soda, dissolved in 1 T. hot water
1 1/2 c. flour
2 c. rolled oats
1 t. salt
1 t. vanilla
1 package chocolate chips
Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening and sugars. Add egg; mix well. Add all remaining ingredients. Mix well.
Drop by teaspoon onto greased cookie sheets.
Bake at 350º for 8-10 minutes.
