2.5 lbs ground beef
1 clove garlic, minced
1 Tbsp. basil
1 tsp. salt
2 cups canned tomatoes
1 large can tomato paste
3 cups cottage cheese
1/2 cup parmesan cheese
2 Tbsp. parsley flakes
2 eggs, beaten
1 lb mozzarella cheese, sliced thinly
salt and pepper to taste

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350º

Brown beef and drain fat. Add garlic, basil, salt, tomatoes and tomato paste. Simmer uncovered for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Cook lasagna noodles and drain.

Combine cottage cheese, parmesan cheese, parsley, eggs and salt and pepper.

In a lasagna pan, layer pasta, half of cottage cheese mixture, mozzarella and meat sauce. Repeat layers.

Bake for 30 minutes. If made ahead and refrigerated, heat for 45 minutes.
