1 cup pecans or walnuts lightly toasted then, ground very fine,
1/2 cup butter
1 tbsp granulated sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup flour
1/2 cup sifted confectionary sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter, add sugar and vanilla and continue to cream well. Add ground nuts and mix well. Work in flour. In palm of your hand make little balls and place them on a greased or non stick cookie sheet. Bake at 300º for 30 minutes. Bottom of balls should just be starting to get brown. as you take the balls off the cookie sheet roll them in sifted confectionary sugar. When then get cool, roll them again now in granulated sugar.

This is an all time Busfield favorite! The most sought after of grandma's cookies. Its hard not to eat more than your share. Don't be tempted to make these cookies too big. They are best when made small - they are light and crumbly when made right, and meant to be a small pop in your mouth bite.
