2 cups flour
2 cups quick oats
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp salt
1 tsp nutmeg
1 cup brown sugar
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 tsp baking soda
3/4 cup softened butter
1 1/2 tsp vanilla
2 large eggs
1 cup cranberries

Glaze:
1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
2 tbs fresh lemon juice
2 tsp orange rind

Mixture #1: Mix flour, oats, baking powder, cinnamon, baking soda, salt, and nutmeg.

Mixture #2: In a separate bowl, beat sugar, brown sugar and butter with a mixer until well-blended. Then add vanilla and eggs.

Gradually add mixture #1 to mixture #2. Once mixed, add cranberries.

Bake @ 350º for 12-15 mins. Do not overbake or cookies will be tough.

Once cooled, top with citrus glaze.

A lovely and delicious alternative to the standard chocoalte-based cookies! The citrus glaze complements the cranberry so deliciously. My 8 yo's favorite cookie by far!
