1 1/2 c. quick-cooking rolled oats
1/4 to 1 c. raisins
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg

Directions:
Directions:
In a medium saucepan bring 3 cups water to boiling. Slowly add oats, raisins, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg to boiling water, stirring constantly. Cook, stirring occasionally, for one minute. Cover. Remove from heat; let stand about 3 minutes. Pass sugar and cream or milk, if desired.
