2/3 Cup white sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/3 Cup melted butter (not margarine)
1 Cup dark corn syrup or waffle syrup
1 Cup pecan halves
1 - 9-inch-deep dish pie crust

Combine above ingredients, pour into unbaked crust, and bake at 375º oven for 40-50 minutes, until set.
