1 yellow cake mix
4 whole eggs
1 c. water
½ c. Crisco oil
½ tsp. vanilla
1 pkg. vanilla instant pudding

Mix all together. Cook in 4 layers for 15-20 minutes at 350º. Add nuts if desired.

Icing:
1½ c. sugar
2 egg whites
4 tbsp. water
7tbsp. corn syrup (white)
1 tsp. vanilla

Put all ingredients in double boiler. As you cook, beat with electric mixer on high about 6-7 minutes. Frost cake, then sprinkle with coconut.
