Ingredients:
Ingredients:
12 large cabbage leaves
1 beaten egg
1/4 C. milk
1/4 C. finely chopped onion
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1# lean ground beef
1 C. cooked rice
1 8 oz. can tomato sauce
1 T. brown sugar
1 T. lemon juice
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce

Directions:
Directions:
Separate cabbage leaves from head and immerse in large kettle of boiling water. Cook until limp, about 3 minutes, drain and set aside. Another way to do the cabbage leaves is put the entire head in boiling water cooking until leaves remove easily. Beware of this process it’s hot to handle! Combine egg, milk, onion, salt, pepper, beef and cooked rice. Place 1/4 cup meat mixture in center of each leaf; fold in sides and roll ends over meat to form a roll. I place them in a crock pot, my grandma and mom cooked them on top of the stove in a Dutch oven. Combine tomato sauce with brown sugar, lemon juice, and Worcestershire sauce. Pour over cabbage rolls. Cover and cook on low 7 to 9 hrs. Makes 6 servings.
