COOKIE :
1 cup of shortening
1 cup of brown sugar
1 cup of white sugar
1 cup drained crushed pineapple ( save juice )
2 eggs
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
2 teaspoons baking powder
4 cups of all purpose flour
2 teaspoons vanilla

GLAZE:
6 teaspoons oleo or butter
1 and 1/2 cups powder sugar
3-4 tablespoons pineapple juice

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
For the cookie cream the shortening, eggs, brown sugar, white sugar and vanilla together in a big bowl.
In a separate bowl combine the flour, soda , baking powder and salt. Add this to the big bowl and mix well. Stir in the pineapple.
Drop by teaspoons full onto prepared cookie sheet and bake 15 minutes at 350 degrees
Allow to cool before adding glaze.
GLAZE :
Combine the oleo and pineapple juice. Whisk in the powder sugar. Drizzle over the cooled cookies
