¾ cup butter, melted and cooled
¼ cup dark molasses
1 cup sugar
1 egg
2 cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp cloves
1 tsp ginger

Directions:
Directions:
Add melted butter, molasses, sugar, and egg. Mix well, then add flour, spices and baking soda, mix well.

Roll into 1-inch balls, roll in granulated sugar and plan 1 inch apart on greased cookie sheet.

Bake at 350º for 10-12 minutes. Store in airtight container.

This is another favorite from our annual Christmas Cookie bake. It is a recipe my dear friend Patricia Pick has had in her family. Make the cookie balls very small to get bite size cookies. But don't over cook!
