1¼ c. Flour
1/2 tsp. Baking Soda
1/4 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. Salt
1/3 c. Butter
3/4 c. Packed Brown Sugar
1 Egg
1 tsp. Vanilla
1/2 c. Sour Cream
1 8oz. pkg. Pitted Whole Dates Snipped (2 c.)
1/2 c. Broken Walnuts

For Icing
1 c. Powdered Sugar
2 tbsp. Melted Butter
1 tsp. Vanilla
2-3 tsp. Milk

Directions:
In a small bowl stir together flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, and set aside. In a medium bowl beat butter with an electric mixer on medium speed for 30 seconds. Add brown sugar, slowly beating on medium for 30 seconds until fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla and beat until combined. After, add flour mixture and source cream to egg mixture, beating at low speed until combined. Next, stir in date and nuts. Drop by well rounded tsp, 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheets. Bake at 400º for 8-10 min. or until they are light brown. Cool on wire rack, when cool, frost.

- Icing
In small bowl stir together 1 c. sifted powdered sugar and 2 tbsp. melted butter and 1 tsp. vanilla; then stir in enough milk (2-3tsp) to make drizzling consistency.
