5 c. sugar
1/2 lb. butter
1 large can evaporated milk
1 12 oz package chocolate chips
1 large jar marshmallow fluff, 7-1/2 oz.
2 t. vanilla
2 c. chopped walnuts (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Put chips, fluff, vanilla and nuts in mixing bowl first.

Then on stovetop put sugar, butter, and milk in large saucepan.

When at rapid boil, watch and stir for 15 minutes. Check if done by dropping a bit on ice to see if it makes a quick congeal. It may take 20 minutes.

Put hot mixture over other ingredients in mixing bowl. Mix on high speed till creamy.

Pour into a buttered pan. Will set in 3-4 hours.


Pro tip--the stirring and watching part is the most important.
