3\4 c. flour
1\2 tsp soda
1\2 tsp. salt
1\2 c. shortening
6 tbsp. brown sugar
6 tbsp. sugar
1\2 tsp. vanilla
1\4 tsp. water
1 egg
1 c. oatmeal
1 (6 oz.) pkg. Semi Sweet Chocolate chips
Directions:
Directions:
Sift together flour, soda, and salt. Set aside. Blend in shortening, sugars, vanilla and water. Beat in the egg. Mix in dry ingredients. Fold in oatmeal and chocolate chips.

Bake at 375º for 10-12 minutes.
