2 sticks butter, softened
3 c sugar
1 tsp vanilla
6 eggs
1 c sour cream
3 c all purpose flour
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking soda

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 325º.

Mix butter, vanilla, and eggs.
Add sugar.
Add sour cream.

Mix in flour, baking soda, and salt.

Pour batter into 2 greased loaf pans.

Bake 1 hour or until a knife comes out clean.

This is a Patterson favorite! Delicious as a base for strawberry short-cake or just to indulge in a sweet bread treat. We also use it in cut into cubes in our berry trifles. Yum! Enjoy. Think of my mom when you eat it -- she's smiling down from heaven knowing that her recipe lives on.
