Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
When we lived in Fairfax, CA., in the early 1970's we had a
good friend who was the pastry chef at a French Restaurant
called 'Maurice and Charles'. It was so expensive we could
not afford to go and we jokingly called it 'Maury's and Charlie's'!
Out of pity for us our friend gave us this recipe from the
restaurant
