Wet Mixture

2 Cups Milk
1 Cup Raisin Water
1Tablespoon Salt
3 Tablespoon Butter
1/2 Cup Honey

Heat above 5 ingredients to 125º - 130º

Dry Mixture

2 packages Dry Yeast
5 Cups Wheat Flour

2 Cups Wheat Flour (to be added later)

1 Cup Nuts (Pecans or Walnuts)
1/2 cups raisins - White


Mix dry ingredients with heated ones. Stir well and kneed for 4 minutes. Let raise for 1 hour punch down - repeat separate and make 2 loaves raise 35 - 40 minutes.

Grease loaf pans.

Bake @ 375º for 15 minutes then reduce heat to 350º for 35 minutes.

Options:

Soak raisins for several days. Use water from soaked white raisins.

Add 1 Tbls Cinnamon, 1 tsp Cloves and a dash of nutmeg to dry ingredients.

Sprinkle sesame seeds in bottom of greased pans.
