6 large Russet potatoes (approximately)
1/2 stick of butter
8 oz shredded cheddar cheese
Salt and Pepper
1/2 cup milk (approximately)

Directions:
Spray a 9 by 13 pan with cooking spray. Scrub potatoes and slice either using a french fry press or manually slice them into french fries. Place a layer of potatoes in the pan and sprinkle with salt and pepper, then a thin layer of cheese. Thinly slice approximately 1/3 of the butter and spread it over the potatoes. Repeat three more layers. When done, add milk. Cover with aluminum foil and bake at 400 for approximately 30-60 minutes. Check doneness after 30 minutes.
