1 head butter lettuce or tender greens
2 pears peeled, cored and sliced
3 oz blue cheese
4 T pear balsamic vinaigrette
1/2 C walnuts

Pear Vinaigrette
1 pear - peeled, cored, and chopped
1/2 C white wine
1 glove garlic chopped
2 tsp Dijon mustard
1/4 white balsamic vinegar
1 tsp black pepper
1/4 tsp sea salt
1/2 C olive oil

Directions:

Pear Vinaigrette
Blend all ingredients except olive oil. Add oil in a thin stream and continue blending until thick and creamy.

Pear Salad
Place lettuce on 4 chilled plates. Fan pear slices over lettuce. Sprinkle with blue cheese crumbles and candied walnuts. Drizzle with dressing.
