1/4 cup warm water
1 pkg dry yeast
3/4 cup lukewarm water
1 egg. slightly beaten
2 tbsp butter, melted
2 tbsp sugar
1/2 tsp salt
3 1/4 cups sifted flour


Orange filling:
1 cup orange juice & pulp
1 cup sugar
1 tsp grated orange rind
1/4 cup butter

Directions:
Directions:
In a bowl combine water and yeast. Stir until yeast is dissolved. Add milk, eggs, butter, sugar, and salt. Blend thoroughly. Add 2 cups flour and beat well; gradually add remaining flour to form soft dough. On lightly floured board, knead until dough is smooth. Place in buttered bowl and brush top with melted butter.

Cover and let rise in warm place until double in bulk. Meanwhile prepare orange filling.

In a saucepan, combine orange juice and pulp, sugar, orange rind, and butter. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until mixture thickens. Cool. On a lightly floured board, roll half the dough to measure 24 to 26 inches; spread with half of the orange filling. Roll lengthwise as for jelly roll. Cut in 2 inch slices and place in buttered muffin pans. Repeat with remaining half of dough and filling. Brush with melted butter; cover and let rise until double in bulk. Bake 10 to 12 minutes at 350º and remove from pan immediately.
