•1 package Hurst's Green Split HamPeas®
•6 cups beef or chicken stock (can use water)
•1 cup chopped carrots
•1 cup chopped celery
•1 cup chopped onion
•1 clove minced garlic
•Meat Options: Leftover ham or beef bone, with some meat
still on the bone OR 1 lb. cubed ham/sausage/beef.
•Salt/Pepper to taste

Directions:
In a colander or sieve, sort and rinse the dried peas
thoroughly. Check for any unwanted debris and discard.

In a 4-6 quart slow cooker, add all ingredients,
including ham flavor packet. Stir to combine.

.Cover and cook on high 4-5 hours, or low 7-8.

If using a ham/beef bone, remove the bone and trim
off any remaining meat, add back into the pot, discard
the bone.

.Keep warm until ready to serve.

Tips
If you prefer a more "brothy" soup, add 1 more cup of
