1 cup butter
1 Tbsp Crisco
2 cups sugar
4 large eggs
2 3/4 cups flour, sifted (White Lily)
1 cup milk
1 tsp vanilla
Orange Frosting

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs, blending well after each addition. Add sifted flour alternately with milk. Cream after each addition. Mix and add vanilla flavoring.

Divide between three greased and floured cake pans. Bake 375 oven for 12-15 minutes or until very lightly browned. Remove to cake rack and cool.

Put orange frosting between layers and frost top and sides.

Mamma first made this cake for Daddy when they were dating. It was one of Daddy's favorites so she used to make this cake quite a bit when we were children.
