1 cup flour
1 cup granulated sugar
6 Tbsp butter or margarine
4 cups sliced apples
1/4 cup water
1 tsp vanilla
1/4 tsp salt

Directions:
Directions:
Mix flour, sugar and butter together. Place apples in an 8x8 baking dish. Mix water, vanilla and salt together. Sprinkle water mixture over apples evenly. Sprinkle flour mixture on top. Bake about 40 minutes at 350 degrees. Good with whipped cream, ice cream, or plain.
