1lb. penne pasta
7 T. butter
1/2 t. hot pepper flakes
1 c. canned italian plum tomatoes (drained & pureed)
1 c. heavy cream
1 t. salt
1 c. parmesan cheese (freshly grated)
1/2 c vodka

Directions:
Directions:
Boil 6 quarts of water and salt. Add penne pasta and cook al dente. Warm the serving bowl. While pasta is cooking, start the sauce. Melt the butter in large skillet. Add pepper flakes and vodka, simmer for 2 minutes. Add tomatoes and cream, simmer for 6 minutes. Add salt. Drain pasta, add sauce and parmesan cheese.
