1 c butter, softened
1/4 c sugar
1 1/2 c brown sugar
1 tbsp vanilla extract
2 eggs
2 c flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
1 c rolled oats
1/2 c semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2 c milk chocolate chips
1/2 c raisins
1/2 c chopped fruit n nut chocolate bar
1/2 c toasted pecans, chopped (optional) :)

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350ºF. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
Cream butter and both sugars until light and fluffy (at least 2 minutes).
Blend in eggs and vanilla, scraping down sides and bottom of bowl in between.
Stir in flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and oats.
Stir in chocolate chips, chocolate bars, raisins, and pecans if using.
Use cookie scoop to scoop cookie dough onto prepared pans, a couple inches apart.
Bake just until cookies are no longer shiny on top, about 11 - 13 minutes.
Cool on wire rack and store in a sealed container at room temperature.

Kayle Mumby asked me to recreate these cookies that I had made years before and this was my first attempt. Unfortunately, neither one of us thought to ask about nuts which led to a pretty rough day for Kayle. Thankfully, he lived to tell the tale and therefore earned a spot in this recipe book.
