1 Whole Chicken

1 Chopped Yellow Onion

1 Salt & Pepper



Bisquick Dumplings

2 cups of bisquick

2/3 cup milk

Salt

Directions:
Directions:
To cook chicken and make chicken broth



Put chicken in a large pot

Fill up the pot with water

Add salt, pepper, and onion

Cook on high heat and bring to a boil

Turn heat down to low and simmer for at least 1 to 2 hours

Remove chicken from pot

Let chicken cool

When the chicken is cooled down debone the chicken (pull all meat off and the skin)

Throw the skin away and put meat in back in the pot.
I add some salt and pepper to the bisquick before adding the milk. Mix all ingredients together.



Bring pot of broth and chicken to a boil

Lower heat to simmer

Drop dumplings by the spoonful into the simmering broth

Cook 10 minutes with the lid off

Cook 10 minutes with the lid on
