1/2 cup sugar
6 tbsp butter, room temp
2 tsp vanilla
1 tsp lemon zest
3 large eggs
2 cups flour
2 tsp baking powder

Icing

1/2 tsp butter
1 1/2 cups powder sugar
1 tbsp water
1 tbsp lemon juice
colored sprinkles

Directions:

oven 350 degrees, parchment paper
Beat sugar vanilla, lemon zest and butter
Beat in one egg at a time
Stir in baking powder
Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour

To form Knots, roll dough into logs about 5 inch long
Roll into knots

Bake 15 minutes until golden brown

Make icing and dip cookies into icing and add sprinkles
