4 Cups all purpose flour.
1 Tablespoon Sugar
1 ½ teaspoon Salt
1 ½ Cups Crisco.

Blend the above until crumbly

1 Egg (room temp)
1 Tablespoon Vinegar
½ Cup cold water

Mix together and add 1 Tablespoon at a time, tossing lightly

Gather into a ball and chill overnight

Makes 5 pie crusts

Mom was the pie maker. Fruit pies were their favorite. Her crust was always delicious. A good crust makes the pie even better. The Fresh Lemon Pie and Coconut cream were always a favorite of Pappy's mom, Adeline.
